Gaming has come a long way over the years with home video game systems being more popular than traditional arcade games. However you can relive those memories of pumping quarters with a new arcade rental service, All You Can Arcade. Find out more on the popular rental start up below.
Two San Francisco Bay Area Brothers, Seth and Timothy Peterson started a rental subscription service All You Can Arcade for individuals who prefer an arcade stick over Kinect. The service delivers arcade systems directly to your home or office. A lot of popular 80′s titles are offered through the service such as “Ms. Pac Man,” ‘’Donkey Kong” and “Tron.”
The brothers started the company last month with a fairly simple business plan. They seek out to purchase arcade machines for below market value prices then refurbish the machines. Once playable again the games are rented out for $75 a month.
Seth Peterson discussed the process of obtaining arcade machines with The Washington Post, “It’s a lot of fun looking for the bargains, scoring them off Craigslist or eBay or through the Internet forums. Anywhere we can find them.” The brothers have monetized a hobby of theirs, for years they have been collecting arcade machine for $150 to $200 and fixing them up under personal leisure.
Currently All You Can Arcade is available to California states residents. Orders are handled on the companies website where users just put in their zip code to find which titles are available to them. The brothers are hoping to expand the service to the East Coast later this year.
