From the dawn of humankind to the modern digital revolution, the man cave has been an important part of the evolution of our species. If man had not had a place of retreat to call his own, would we be the society we are today? Would we even still exist? Or would the stress of life with no opportunity to retreat to the man cave have been too much for our ancestors? Fortunately, they did find time to relax – each in their own form of retreat. So it may not be too far of a stretch to say that we have the man cave to thank for our modern society.
