Do you love the popular Angry Birds game series? Well if you can’t get enough of the bird vs. pig mobile game phenomenon has now been revamped with a racer version Angry Birds Go .
Developer of the popular game series, Rovio, introduced the newest addition this week with a gameplay trailer. In addition they announced the date of the game which will be released for phones and tablets on December 11.
From the trailer below you can see the series takes a turn to the left with this version. Unlike the previous versions, the new Angry Birds Go resembles popular beat-em-up racing series like Mario Kart. Racers will be able to grab in-race powerups and hazards to sabotage other drivers. In addition, users will be able to upgrade their ride in the game and earn in-game currency.
Just like Angry Birds Star Wars II, the new racing addition of Angry Birds will support Telepods. Created by Hasbro, Telepods are toys that can be scanned into the game. The feature allows users to scan some of their favorite characters on supported apps for gameplay.
