Microsoft Offering A Free 30 Day Trial With Xbox Music

Microsoft has rolled out it new music streaming service which is integrated with it’s Xbox video game system. What can we expect from Xbox Music? Find out more about the service below.

Xbox Music is now available for users to try with a free 30 day trial. Only owners of an Xbox account can access the service. In order to participate with the free trial a credit card must be entered which will be charged after the 30 days are over, unless the service is cancelled before that.

If you decide to keep the Xbox Music service past the 30 day trial the service only costs $9.99 a month and gives access to millions of songs. Microsoft is offering a nice deal if you purchase the Xbox Music Pass in advance, a year access for the price of 10. So a year pass will cost $99 for the music service.

Subscribers will be able to access their account from five different devices.  Currently Xbox Music can only be accessed on Windows 8, smartphones, various tablets, Xboxes and PCs. A mobile iOS and Android app has not been released yet but in order to be a worthy opponent to Spotify, Microsoft needs to expand to these popular devices.
