BBM Update Fixes Bugs and Expands to the iPad

After weeks and weeks of waiting BBM finally launched for iOS and Android devices. The app easily rose in popularity since its October release and it might go up even more with the latest version being compatible with the Apple iPad.

Besides the iPad comparability the update fixes some major bugs found in the iOS and Android versions of the app. In the iOS version users were reporting BBM contacts names were being dropped randomly while Android users were reporting battery draining issues in their version. Both issues have been solved in the latest BBM update.

While iPhone, iPod and now iPad users running iOS 6 or higher can utilized BBM on their devices, Android tablet users have to wait. Currently only Android devices 7-inches or smaller can support BBM. Additionally Windows Phone users are also on the waiting list to try out the BBM expansion.
